Declan is a fund raising professional with over 25 years of capital market experience covering private equity, credit, infrastructure and public equities. Most recently he spent two years working on bespoke assignments with investment managers looking to develop & grow their business in Japan.
Over the past 20 years Declan has worked in a number of positions in the fund raising business including Marketing Director at ECM Asset Management (part of Wells Fargo Asset Management), the London based fund manager, where he was responsible for business development in Japan. Prior to that Declan was Representative Director at Capital & Marketing Securities, a Tokyo-based broker-dealer specialising in credit, real estate and private equity managers. Declan also spent two years with MAB Partners, a London-based specialist placement agent, where he was a Partner.
Declan began his career in Tokyo in 1988 with Mitsubishi UFJ Trust & Banking working in aircraft finance before leaving to join Nomura in 1997 where he held several senior positions in London and Tokyo in Fixed Income sales covering Asian institutions.
Declan is a graduate of Technological University of Dublin and was awarded a B.Sc. (Applied Sciences) from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.
