Rede Liquidity Index 2H 2021Report

We are delighted to release the 8th edition of the Rede Liquidity Index (RLI), our research that looks at institutional investor sentiment towards private equity for the second half of 2021 and into 2022.

Key findings:

  1. This report sees the RLI at a record high with very high deployment levels expected in 2022

  2. However, with an unprecedented number of GPs coming to market, we see evidence of a real squeeze on fundraising with LPs looking to focus heavily on reups with existing managers

  3. LPs continue to chase alpha and are looking to expand allocations to growth equity and mid-market/lower mid-market buyouts over the next year.
