The Rede Summer Intern and Graduate Schemes

The Rede Summer Intern and Graduate Schemes

Our schemes have intakes every year, taking on students and recent graduates looking to begin their Private Equity career journey.

Summer Intern Programme

Our Intern programme runs each Summer and provides an opportunity to work closely with one of our five front office business lines, as well as gaining insight into the wider Rede business through value-add projects. Based in our London office and running over 9 weeks, successful applicants will gain a deep understanding of the private equity landscape. For top performers, there is also the opportunity to return as a Graduate once their university course is completed.

Graduate Scheme

Each year our Graduate Scheme takes on students and recent graduates looking to begin their Private Equity career journey.

Based in our London office, successful candidates benefit from extensive training and complete rotations across a number of business areas, including Advisory, Coverage, Impact, Origination and Transactions, providing a well-rounded introduction and understanding of our approach to business and the clients we support.

It is a fantastic opportunity to learn from our market-leading team of experts and contribute to our work supporting some of the best private equity firms in Europe and North America.

Training and Development

The graduate scheme begins with a two-week training programme covering an introduction to Rede and to Private Equity. This interactive training programme includes sessions with experts from each of our business areas. Regular training continues throughout the scheme to introduce our graduates to our Centres of Excellence and technical-based skills.

What we look for

We encourage applications from graduates who are enthusiastic, organised, diligent, and detail-oriented with some exposure or interest in Private Equity or Private Placement.

How to apply

Reed June 2021 020

Applications open in September each year. All applications are screened by our recruitment partner, Dartmouth, for suitability to the scheme. Applicants will need to attach a cover letter and CV for review, and can expect to hear from the Dartmouth team within a few days.

The process

The next stage for those shortlisted is a recruitment day. Candidates will be invited to meet various members of the Rede team, ranging from our current Graduate Scheme participants through to some of our most senior team. Over the course of the day, candidates will also complete competency testing and psychometric testing. Successful candidates will be informed in the fortnight following the recruitment day and will start the programme in September of the following year.
